The Awakening is a cutting edge non-traditional service with contemporary praise and worship, moving drama, and a fresh and relevant word from Pastor Stephen. You can experience an amazing time with God that will "Awaken" your relationship with Him in a whole new way! Join us every third Sunday night at 6:00 p.m.
After Sunday morning service comes Monday and the work week! This is why we provide a Wednesday night mid-week pick-me-up service! You can get your mid-week "Fuel" through a refreshing time of praise and worship and an exciting and challenging Bible Study with Pastor Stephen. This ministry is perfect to help you get through your week!
Music Ministry at Dyersburg First Church is more than just performance. We have a mandate from the Lord to lift Him up. As we sing songs of praise, and as worship flows from our hearts, God’s presence fills His house and the Body of Christ is encouraged, strengthened, healed, and delivered. Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!” We are determined to praise and worship God in spirit and in truth! Our band ministers lead praise and worship in our Sunday services and in special services throughout the year.
Our G.A.N.G. Children’s Ministry at Dyersburg First is designed to meet each child’s age-specific needs for their body, soul, and spirit. By laying a foundation of God’s Word and truth, we prepare children to build a lifelong relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Our G.A.N.G. stands for God’s Anointed New Generation. We provide programs that deal with the ever-changing needs of your child, and provide an environment for their growth and spiritual development. Children want to come to church because they are challenged in a fun and fast-paced service that ministers in all the different ways they learn. Get your children involved in Our G.A.N.G. Children’s Ministry every Sunday morning and Wednesday night.. With God’s help, we will empower them with truth, so they can have their own personal relationship with God.
Thanks for checking out our youth ministry here at Dyersburg First Church. Here at HYM, (HisSpace Youth Ministry) serving God is a Lifestyle! Our purpose is to see that when students walk in our doors, they don’t leave the same way they came in. We want students to be set on fire for Christ through a personal relationship with Him and revelation of the Word (Luke 24:32). It is all about letting Jesus Christ transform each one of us from who we are to who He wants us to be. Here at HYM we are made up of actively involved and disciplined students and staff, whose purpose is to draw in, win, grow, and empower each other to magnify Christ as young peoples lives are changed.
Cross Training - Divorce Care
Discipleship is the backbone of spiritual growth in every life. We offer several areas of Christian Education here at Dyersburg First Church. We provide you opportunity for spiritual growth and the chance to connect with other Christians.
Divorce Care is a support group with encouraging Bible based studies that meet for 12 consecutive weeks three times a year. Anyone who has gone through a divorce or is currently seperated is invited to come. It is free to the community. Our next group will begin on September 7th. We meet on Monday night 7:00 - 8:30.
Every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. our Cross Training program is offered to children and adults of all ages. There are several classes to choose from for adults.
